Hey! and Welcome.
Kenya, sigh. The #1 reason I've started this blog is for my 'trip'. I am so extremely excited for this trip. SO EXCITED! I'm going to Kenya, Africa, leaving September 15th. It'll be a mixed schedule with serving and seeing people. And for those who are wondering, I'm still earning the money, but almost there!
One of my favorite places in the whole giant world is Africa. Not just as a place though, no it's much more than that. Most friends would agree that I'm definitely an Africa-Aholic. And I do have one insane life.
First and foremost comes my God who is anything and everything I live for(yes, way before Africa.)I'm home-schooled and in 10th grade. I have six very lovable and crazy brothers, one super cute little sister and two amazingly supportive parents, we're: "one big happy family". I'm idiotic about swim team, violin and public speaking. I Enjoy missions and helping others immensely and love, love, love nursing. Hopefully that somewhat fills you in on where I stand after 14 years of life.
Also, don't get weirded out by the language barrier on the post titles. Swahili is the Kenyan language I love. It's easy to find an online translator. (:
So, hello! Welcome to my "Confessions of a Africa-Aholic."
