Monday, September 20th

We traveled four hours to "The Farm". Four hours well worth it I say.

On the way, we stopped at a soapstone sculpture place.
They make all of their creations starting with a block of hard soapstone, turning it into a smooth, polished yet hand-crafted masterpiece. God did that for me.

The Farm is a vocational training center instead of a school like the other campus here in Kisumu.

Twenty-five boys, high school age live there. The opportunity they have is amazing.
They grow 75% of the food they eat.
They each learn a basic trade so they can get a job later in life.
They all seem to love God.
They know how to clap crazy too.

The view from the farm is breathtaking. The lake is so calm and rhythmic. I befriended some little black girls. <3
Loving it here.
